An Iowa woman is facing charges after police say she shared nude photos with a minor through Facebook.
Charlotte Elaine Klisares, 46 was arrested and placed into the Polk County Jail after police found she had sent explicit sexual pictures of herself to the 17-year-old son of her ex-boyfriend.
“Basically, the whole thing started with a domestic situation with her and her now ex-boyfriend,” Des Moines police Sgt. Paul Parizek said. “They’d split up, there was some arguing going back and forth and both were kind of alleging some harassment”
The woman’s ex-boyfriend told police his former girlfriend sent harassing messages, nude photos and photos of sex acts to his 17-year-old son and other family members through Facebook.
Des Moines police Sgt. Paul Parizek said the 17-year-old was “clearly bothered” by the images.
“We were more concerned with the reaction of the minor of the child, and he was clearly bothered by this,” Parizek said. “This is not something he expected to see (and) definitely nothing that he wanted.”
She has been charged with distribution of obscene materials to a minor, a serious misdemeanor.
